Following a competitive bid process, in June 2007, Center Academy Board of Directors named Visions Education Development Consortium, LLC as the new educational service provider in an effort to strengthen academic outcomes and improve the school family climate. Center Academy is authorized by Central Michigan University and made AYP.

On July 1, 2008 Woodmont Academy officially became the second school in the Visions EDC Family. Visions EDC was competitively selected by the Woodmont Academy Board of Directors to become the education service provider for the school. The kindergarten through 5th grade school is currently recruiting students for the 2008-2009 school year. Woodmont Academy is authorized by Bay Mills Community College and made AYP.

planning support, curriculum and instructional review and recommendations,
technology/infrastructure recommendations, and Human Resource transition

building and reaching readiness for self-management in the 2010-2011 school
year.

- Academy is the highest achieving charter school in Southfield, MI and one of the top charter schools in Michigan based on 2009 MEAP Achievement data
- 5th grade teacher Joanna Jozwik of Woodmont Academy was named teacher of the year by the Michigan Association of Public School Academies
- Center Academy students are reading at or above grade-level based on Performance Series/Scantron test results
- Center Academy staff fed 145 families in Genessee County
