Center Academy was founded in 1999, providing a compelling academic choice for parents and students in the Flint community.
Since its inception, Center Academy has served thousands of students through Pre-school and early elementary Montessori and rigorous 3rd through 8th Grade Curriculum.
For the past three years, Center Academy has made adequate yearly progress, as evaluated by the Michigan Department of Education.
In 2006, Center Academy enhanced its Media Center by adding over ten thousand textbooks, audio and video tapes, and state of the art technology. Investing in the future of our children, Center Academy is funded as a 21st Century Community Learning Center, serving students through a variety of education and recreational enrichment activities.
